Transitioning to Dashboards: Replacing Reports

As we continually strive to improve your experience and the tools at your disposal, we are excited to announce significant enhancements to our existing dashboard feature. These improvements come as we phase out the traditional reports feature, making way for a more dynamic and customizable platform. This article will guide you through the benefits of migrating to our enhanced dashboards and how to make the transition smoothly.

What’s New with Our Dashboards?

Our dashboards have been revamped with exciting new features to enhance your data interaction capabilities:

  • Fully Customizable: Adapt your dashboard to meet your specific needs. Add, remove, and edit widgets on a dashboard to focus on the metrics that matter most to you. For detailed instructions, see our previous articles:

  • Integrated with Explore Feature: Dive deeper into your data seamlessly, without leaving the convenience of your dashboard. Any widget you create or refine in the Explore tool can be easily persisted to your dashboard, allowing for a continuous and fluid transition from exploration to actionable insights.

Advanced Subscription Options

Your decision-making process depends on timely and relevant data. With our enhanced dashboards, you can tailor your subscription preferences to receive updates exactly when you need them:

  • Opt to receive dashboard data updates via email daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly based on your preferences.

Making the Switch

Transitioning to our enhanced dashboard is designed to be straightforward and hassle-free. Here’s how you can get started:


Initiate the Transition Early

  • Contact our support team directly within the app. Inform them that you'd like to move your projects to the new dashboard feature early.

  • Specify if you want your existing report subscriptions to be transferred to the new dashboard setup.

Wait for the automated Transition:

  • Read-Only Phase: Starting August 1st, 2024, all traditional reports will be available in a read-only format. You will be able to view your reports but existing Report subscriptions will be moved to Dashboards. Qualaris support will be available to help with any pain points during the transition before reports go away fully.

  • Complete Phase-Out: On September 1st, 2024, all traditional reports will be permanently removed from the system.
