Validating self-reported data against observations from key project staff can identify issues with audit consistency, build confidence in your results, and meet requirements that some applications like hand hygiene auditing may require.

Validation Auditors is a feature for audit forms that allows you to tag the data of key users so you can compare it against the rest of the project's data.

From the Settings Page on any form, you can designate key staff as Validation Users. Going forward, any new submissions from Validation Auditors will be tagged for analysis. Note that this setting does not apply to previously submitted data from Validation Users.

To compare Validation Auditor data with other results, use Analyze Explore to Group By or Filter your data using the attribute Validation Audit. Data labeled true are submitted by Validation Users and data labeled false are submissions from all other users.
