Many auditing programs require units and departments to regularly collect a certain number of audits each month.
Customized dashboards make it easy to
quickly visualize everyone’s data collection across an organization
give managers the info they need to work with their staff to meet assignments
foster friendly competition with comparative reports
meet the reporting requirements of internal and external stakeholders
Here’s how to set up a customized dashboard for collection management.
Create a new Analyze Dashboard for visualizing collection data by going to Switch Dashboard View and then selecting + Add new.
Choose a name for your new dashboard (e.g. "Monthly Collection Report") and optionally add a description, Filter Field, and default timeframe.
Once your dashboard is created, edit your new dashboard to add a new chart.
Customize your new chart by setting Measure to Count, choosing a chart type, and adding an Interval.
Add a count-based goal to your chart from by selecting Options and choosing Chart Options.
Save your new chart, adjust chart size and position as desired, and save your Dashboard.
Tips
Tip - use a Group By set to Unit or other location field to quickly compare counts across all locations.
Tip - use a Filter set to Unit or other location field to set up dedicated chart for each location. This is a great approach if each location has a different monthly collection goal.
Tip - add a Unit-based Filter Field to your Analyze Dashboard to generate a unit-level report for each manager.
Tip - use a Group By set to Full Name to help see how many audits each staff member submitted. This is particularly helpful in combination with a Filter Field set to Unit so each manager can track staff-level collection in their location.
Tip - use Dashboard Subscriptions to schedule email-based delivery to stakeholders. If you set up a Filter Field set to Unit and set up Subscriptions, you can send each manager their location's results by email.
