Editing Widgets is limited to Administrators.

To edit a Widget on a Dashboard, click the Widget's settings menu in the upper right corner and select "Open in Explorer". The Explore editor will open preloaded in a pop up. You can then modify the parameters, chart type, time frame, etc. Make sure to click the "Save" button, which will persist the changes to everyone else who views the Dashboard in the future.
